KASAI Issues Open Call for ‘KASAI Pro 2’ Undercard Competitors
Passionate grapplers from around the world are invited to stake their claim for a coveted spot on KASAI’s April 14 card.
January 25, 2018 – New York City, NY – KASAI Elite Grappling Championships (KASAI) launched an online portal today through which gi and no-gi grapplers can apply to compete on the undercard for ‘KASAI Pro 2’.
Scheduled for Saturday, April 14 at Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York, ‘KASAI Pro 2’ will showcase some of Jiu-Jitsu’s most decorated names and a stacked eight-man tournament to crown KASAI‘s first World Middleweight Champion.
“Competing on ‘KASAI Pro 2’s’ undercard is a unique opportunity for talented grapplers to take their careers to the next level,” said Rolles Gracie, KASAI President. “Our first event saw top grapplers like Cameron Florczak and Nick Ronan make huge statements in their respective performances. We look forward to seeing more rising stars excel on 4/14.”
All matches on the undercard for ‘KASAI Pro 2’ undercard will use the IBJJF points system. Bouts will be six-minutes long with no advantages awarded and all submissions legal.
